Membership Eligibility

As a member of Addison Avenue Federal Credit Union you have access to a full array of share, loan and investment products and services. We are a full service financial institution and providing our members with simplified solutions for all their financial needs. You can apply for a student loan without already being a member of Addison Avenue. However, the student will need to become a member before we can fund the loan.

There are many ways to become a member of Addison Avenue.  First, check if you are eligible to join from the list below, then visit our Membership Application page to learn how to apply (online, in person, or through the mail).

If you are not eligible to join through one of our sponsor groups below, you can qualify for membership by joining the Financial Fitness Association. It’s only $5.00 to join this not-for-profit organization. To sign up, go to www.financialfitnessassociation.org, click “Join Now”, and follow the instructions.

Addison Avenue serves the following companies, associations, and clubs. To be eligible to join Addison Avenue, you must meet at least one of the following criteria:
  • Company employee (employed by any of the listed companies).
  • Member (of any listed clubs or associations).
  • Family member (defined as spouse, child, sibling, parent, grandparent, grandchild, stepparents, stepchildren, adoptive relationships, or 'persons' living in the same residence maintaining a single economic unit).
  • Spouse of person who dies while in the Credit Union field of membership.
  • Officer or credit union volunteer who serve as members of the Board of Directors or the Supervisory Committee.
  • Retired pensioners or annuitants from any of the listed companies.
